Guerrilla Tactics announces 2018 roster changes (again)
Despite announcing an overhauled roster for 2018 back in December, Guerilla Tactics have now made further changes, which the organization described in a detailed TwitLonger.
The pebble that started the avalanche was ESEA's new age rule for MDL, which led to Owen "oBo" Schlatter wanting to join up with displaced talents. After that, Ryan "Winsum" Johns expressed a desire to play in MDL, which the team facilitated for him. Finally, Stephen "Berghy" Bergh elected to step down from the team to pursue a career opportunity.
Reduced to just two players, the organization has now added three new recruits. The most experienced of the trio is Christopher "Spriggals" Spriggs has one season of MDL under his belt. Neither Kevin "poised" Ngo nor Marcos "tacitus" Castilho has seen extended action above Main, though the latter has helped SoaR of late.
Guerilla Tactics' second stab at a 2018 roster will be:
- Bradley "crazylegs" Waddington
- Lucas "fiziq" Blow
- Christopher "Spriggals" Spriggs
- Kevin "poised" Ngo
- Marcos "tacitus" Castilho
- Justin "coachJ" Anzalone (Coach)
Despite the roster overhaul, former members Belal "FGB" Ahmad, Chuck "cp2" Proud and Stephen "Berghy" Bergh will be standing-in for the team at the start of the season in order to hold down the ESEA Main spot. That Season 27 campaign has gotten off to a good start, with the team currently sitting at 1-0.
