Guerrilla Tactics announces 2018 roster changes
Yesterday Guerrilla Tactics announced their 2018 starting line-up via Twitter:
The changes come after the team's season ended in the second round of the ESEA Main playoffs, with a loss to eventual league runner's up Third Times a Charm.
When asked by Dust2.us, player Belal "FGB" Ahmad cited conflicting schedules that lead to inadequate practice time. Their inability to hold themselves to their own higher standards ultimately led to the roster adjustments.
The players that have departed the team are FGB, Kenny "KEN1" Cutler, and Chuck "cp2" Proud. As of now, cp2 has decided to take a step back from CS:GO entirely for an unknown amount of time, while FGB looks to re-evaluate his situation after he finishes moving. KEN1 is currently in talks with an undisclosed Main team.
New additions to the roster include Bradley "crazylegs" Waddington, Lucas "fiziq" Blow, and Owen "oBo" Schlatter — the last of which spent the previous season with Adaptation.
With these changes, the Guerilla Tactics roster is now as follows:
- Ryan "winsum" Johns
- Stephen "Berghy" Bergh
- Bradley "crazylegs" Waddington
- Lucas "fiziq" Blow
- Owen "oBo" Schlatter
Guerrilla Tactics will again compete in ESEA Main in Season 27 which is set to commence January 21, 2018.
Editor's Note: Ken1 has joined Unbroken for ESEA Main Season 27.
