The Russian superstar will play with NiKo once again

Official: m0NESY joins Falcons

m0NESY will debut at IEM Melbourne 2025.

Falcons announced the arrival of former G2 AWPer Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov this Monday, April 19th. The 19-year-old will take Abdul "degster" Gasanov's spot in the starting lineup effectively immediately.

The move sees m0NESY reunite with his favorite teammate Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, with whom he won six big tournaments in G2 between 2022 and 2024. Falcons reportedly paid around $2.5 million to buy m0NESY from G2.

m0NESY is currently one of the best CS2 players in the world alongside Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, so it's expected that he'll provide some consistent firepower to Falcons and the X-factor necessary to win tough games.

Curiously, m0NESY joins Falcons right after they beat him and G2 in the PGL Bucharest 2025 grand finals, and degster was named the MVP of the tournament by HLTV.

m0NESY is set to make his Falcons debut at IEM Melbourne 2025, which kicks off on April 21st. Falcons are slated to play SAW in the opening round of the Australian event.
