Breaking: Falcons reportedly target kyousuke
Falcons are on the verge of signing Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin, one of the most touted up-and-coming players of recent years, according to a report from our sister website Dust2.dk.
It's unlikely, however, that the Spirit Academy player will join Falcons ahead of the BLAST.tv Austin Major like Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov is reportedly doing.
Should the transfer go through, kyousuke is expected to replace René "TeSeS" Madsen in the starting lineup of Falcons. This presents an invaluable opportunity for the 17-year-old, as he'd team up with Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and m0NESY — two of the best players in the world — in his tier-one debut.
On the other hand, CS2 fans won't see donk and kyousuke playing on the same team and potentially forming one of the best rifling duos ever.
If kyousuke brings his form from tier-two to tier-one, Falcons will become one of the best teams in terms of firepower, and will no longer have excuses for their lack of deep runs and trophies. Danny "zonic" Sørensen would have a superteam on his hands by the time Falcons play the Esports World Cup 2025 on home soil.
This is Falcons' potential lineup for the second half of 2025:
Emil "Magisk" Reif
Nikola "NiKo" Kovač
Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski
Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov
Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin
Danny "zonic" Sørensen (Coach)
