NA loses big as Liquid and M80 are both bounced from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025
Today was an overall rough day for North American Counter-Strike, as both Liquid and M80 were eliminated from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 in 0-2 fashion.

Liquid overall just wasn't up to level of The MongolZ. The MongolZ took control early, getting out to a lead early on Liquid's Anubis pick and never looking back. Justin "jks" Savage had a good series, going positive in both maps, but no one on Liquid could get a clutch to go their way.
M80's loss to G2 was closer but no less agonizing to NA fans. After a close start on Ancient, G2 strung nine rounds in a row together through half-time. M80 did their best to fight back, but G2 eventually closed out Ancient 13-9. M80 climbed out to an 8-4 lead on Inferno, but it was Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov who willed G2 back into the game almost single-handedly. A 20-kill second half for m0NESY punctuated a 13-11 win on Inferno, and a 53-kill series for G2's superstar.
With Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and FaZe losing earlier in the day, all representatives from NA have been booted from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. Liquid and EliGE will both be at PGL Bucharest in two weeks, alongside NA qualifier winner Complexity.
