EliGE: "You have to be confident in these roles, and I'm just not feeling that right now"

Growing pains and moving woes have got the NA star out feeling out of sorts.

Inconsistency has marred FaZe Clan since the arrival of Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, and while the NA star isn't fond of blaming outside factors, he said he'd be lying if he said they weren't affecting him.

FaZe's 0-2 loss to Spirit has knocked them out of BLAST Open Lisbon. Following the loss, EliGE appeared on the desk to talk about some of the things affecting both FaZe and himself.

"There's some discomfort still. If there was an easy solution we would have done it. For me its a matter of confidence in the role, when you're playing these roles you have to be 100% certain about every move you're doing, every strafe, and unfortunately I'm not feeling that confidence right now."

"I don't like to complain about stuff like [moving], but I'd be lying if I said it hasn't been stressful, " EliGE said when asked about the move. "It's definitely been very stressful the last couple weeks, everything has been going wrong between the apartment and internet problems. A lot of difficult things out of my control, so it's been really tough to have complete focus on the game."

All of FaZe are feeling the effects of the "role conflicts" and the current situation just not working. Finn "karrigan" Andersen wrote on X that the "basics are in the bin," and that "practice again again again again" is due.

FaZe's next event is PGL Bucharest, starting April 6th, but even EliGE said that with only 10 days before that, "there's only so much" that can be improved.
