Amped return to full strength with snufaffu

On March 17th, Amped announced the addition of Alex "snufaffu" Hong to the team's ranks, seeing the former MCS player join the squad in place of Erantha "mang0" Arachchi. Amped had been on the lookout for a new fifth following the departure of the Sri Lankan-American rifler on March 7th.

As previously mentioned, snufaffu joins Amped following the dissolution of MCS in early March. With snufaffu heading to Amped, Jaden "Oczarka" Koehler and Brett "Scorchyy" Coolen join InControl, and Ghasif "Go0dby3" Syed joining Redacted Society, this leaves Terry "ogura" Zhao as the only member from that lineup still looking for a new home ahead of Season 53.

In regards to snufaffu's addition, Amped's coach, Rake, coyly said on X:

Want to say thanks to current and near future adv teams for their amazing scouting abilities.

It means I get to pick up an adv po player who has never dropped below 90adr in a season, and who's favorite spot to play on mirage is b anchor.

With it being clear Rake holds the team's incoming 20-year-old rifler in high regard, Amped will aim to make playoffs in Season 53 after narrowly missing out last season.
