EliGE on smashing SAW: "It definitely went a lot better than it did last time"

FaZe kicked off playoffs at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 today with a dominant win over SAW, besting the team decisively in a rematch from the swiss stage from the Romanian event.

After the win over SAW, Dust2.dk's Jan "DOMiNA7HOR" Lindberg grabbed Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski for some quick comments on the win over SAW, EliGE's transition to a new team, and his move to Europe.

What are your thoughts coming out of that 2-0 over SAW?

It definitely went a lot better than it did last time. We had a really strong performance on both while we had a strong performance on Ancient the first time. But, our Nuke was a bit better this time and overall we have been feeling more comfortable.

How do you feel you've adapted with the move to FaZe?

It's been a pretty big change, there's a lot of stress with moving and changing a bunch of stuff. The comms are different and getting used to the strats. It's all typical stuff that you'd expect from moving teams but overall we have been managing it well.

Moving to Europe, how has that been going?

It's not completely done yet, but it will be in the next two weeks. It will be a big relief off my shoulders because it's something to think about, with the visas and all stuff. I have a lot of people that are helping me to try and make it as stress-free as possible.

Overall, I'm pretty excited and I think I've found a nice spot.

EliGE and FaZe will be back in action at PGL Cluj-Napoca tomorrow against Falcons at 01:00PM.
