Villainous pick up 14-year-old Ukrainian rifler ahead of transfer deadline

Yesterday Villainous announced the addition of 14-year-old Ukrainian player Andrii "Sanzh1k33" Drobotia, seeing the youngster replace Teddy "comatose" Sharpe in the team's ranks. The swap took place ahead of ESEA Season 52's transfer deadline on February 16th, with Sanzh1k33 playing in the team's previous three matches dating back to February 10th.

Sanzh1k33 started the year with Ukrainian-majority lineup OutGoing before exiting the squad on January 19th following the departure of IGL Joseph "infdl" Derby earlier that week. During his short time with Villainous thus far, Sanzh1k33 helped the team to three-game winning streak and a 7-4 record in ESEA Advanced Season 52, with the team aiming to make playoffs.

Regarding the change, head coach Kieran "KayJay" Playfair told Dust2.us that the team decided to swap out comatose due to feeling there needed to be a change in the team culture, with certain members having built up animosity towards each other that was harming the team's growth.
