Villainous unveil new squad led by KayJay
On January 13th, Villainous announced their newest squad that is set to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 52, which is set to be helmed by former Bad News Eagles and RBG coach Kieran "KayJay" Playfair. The move marks Villainous' return to the CS scene after their previous roster fizzled out in July 2024 following multiple players leaving to join other rosters.
The addition of the experienced coach and analyst will undoubtedly be a boon to the lineup as it is otherwise quite inexperienced in the wider NA scene, with only two of their players boasting HLTV pages. KayJay said the decision to link up with a rookie squad was intentional as a test of his skills post-Guild Eagles while also helping a new quintet.
