PGL Cluj-Napoca playoff bracket set

The group stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca has concluded, with eight teams advancing through the Swiss stage to the single-elimination playoff bracket.

MOUZ, Astralis, and SAW all claimed playoff spots in the fifth and final round of the group stage, though that does mean they will draw the higher seeds in round one. Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski stands alone as the sole North American presence in playoffs, as both Wildcard and Complexity were eliminated in the group stage.

The first round of playoffs looks like this:

• FaZe vs. SAW - Friday 12:00PM

Arguably the biggest surprise is the appearance of SAW, who were down 0-2 with Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira and José "⁠Shr⁠" Gil set to be benched. The Portuguese roster rallied back with three wins against FlyQuest, Complexity, and 3DMAX. But now they've drawn their toughest opponent yet in top-seeded FaZe Clan.

paiN and MOUZ will kick off a long day of quarterfinals action on Friday, February 21.
