Dire times for COL

Complexity crash out against "dead" team at PGL Cluj-Napoca

It wasn't pretty.

Complexity has bombed out of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 following a dismal 0-2 loss to SAW today, seeing the beleaguered squad exit the Romanian LAN with Imperial Valkyries being their only win on LAN so far this year. Like many of Complexity's recent matches, the team struggled to close the opening map where they held a massive lead, while recent additions Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk and Nick "nicx" Lee struggled immensely on the server.

Map one, Ancient, was the closest COL came to winning a map against a male team at the event, with the squad posting a great 9-3 CT-side before climbing up to an 11-3 lead after halftime. However, in a tragic collapse on their opponent's map pick, Complexity completely fell apart, losing nine out of the next ten rounds to force the series into overtime before SAW claimed their map with a perfect overtime run. Not pretty.

Then on their pick, Inferno, things got even worse for Complexity as it was their turn to start on the backfoot, with SAW winning their opening T-side 8-4 before things got even worse as SAW posted a perfect CT-side to claim the map 13-4 and the series 2-0. The loss is especially disappointing as SAW are a "dead" roster, but the team set to make multiple changes after this event.
