What to expect from Complexity v. SAW
After besting Imperial Valkyries to claim their first win of the year, COL now have the challenge of fending off a dead team in the form of SAW. While it may not be the most prestigious, it keeps COL alive and more importantly in the realm of competitiveness in the VRS.
COL in one
A win's a win and COL have a decent opportunity to climb up to a 2-2 record after besting a women's team and a dead team. However, with VRS points being up for grabs in Cluj, taking this win under the circumstances would still be much appreciated.

We're still waiting on nicx and hallzerk to arrive
-
Train will be a nice surprise for COL to use against SAW
-
A loss here would throw COL out of the top 20 in the VRS
SAWed in half
SAW have not cut an impressive form at Cluj-Napoca, losing to Astralis and FaZe in a fairly dismal manner while barely scraping out a win against FlyQuest. While this puts them slightly ahead of COL on "achievements" for 2025, we cannot forget this is a dead lineup walking.
After Cluj-Napoca, the team is going to be blown up with an international rebuild in the cards, so the team are likely phoning it in to a degree to fulfill their final commitments together.
-
SAW are a dead team walking with Shr and roman on the way out
-
roman, Ag1l, and MUTiRiS are in poor form
-
SAW have to worry about COL pulling out Train, a map they likely haven't practiced much
Previous Matchups
Complexity has never played SAW in Counter-Strike 2.
Likely Vetoes
As always, these vetoes come with the caveat that they are highly speculative as they depend on whether Complexity, as the higher-ranked team, chooses to pick first or ban last. We will assume they ban last.
-
SAW ban Train (0 Maps played, can expect COL to ban Mirage)
-
COL ban Mirage (Permaban)
-
SAW pick Dust2 (50% Winrate, let map through in ever series at this event)
-
COL pick Ancient (50% Winrate, albeit wins were in 2024)
-
SAW ban Anubis (Least-played remaining map)
-
COL ban Nuke (0 Maps played)
-
Inferno as a potential decider
Analysis: Complexity still has the problem of having zero wins against teams not named Imperial Valkyries so it is hard to surmise a winning veto. However, I could see COL walking out of this match with either a 2-0 or 2-1 win should their players show up today.
While the team have never won Dust2, it is an individual performance driven map so strong performances could secure them that map. Outside of that, Ancient and Inferno are decent enough maps for COL so maybe this will be COL's first win against a male team in 2025.
Complexity will fight for survival against SAW at 12:00PM.
