Complexity finally finds a win in 2025 against Imperial Valkyries
Complexity fans that woke up early for round 3 of PGL Cluj-Napoca finally got to see their team secure a win. The NA roster won their first map and series on LAN in a very comfortable 2-0 against Imperial Valkyries.
Ancient was a masterclass from new addition Nick "nicx" Lee, who went 25-9 while posting a 138.1 ADR in the 13-5 victory. nicx played well again on Train, but the second map was more domination by committee rather than a single person stepping up. All of Complexity showed up on Train, completely outclassing the Valkyries in a 13-2 rout.
After failing to show any real consistency during the first month and a half of 2025, a performance like this was a necessity for Complexity. That feeling of needing a win was not lost on the team's in-game leader Johnny "JT" Theodosiou, who told Dust2 that the team needed to start winning to avoid "cratering in the rankings."
Complexity's next test awaits them in the 1-2 group of round 4, which begins tomorrow.
