Former Liquid coach joins Bad News Eagles
Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu is Bad News Eagles' new coach, the orgless Kosovar team announced on February 18th. The move marks peacemaker's return to competition after spending the past few years focusing on content creation and commentating games.
The Brazilian has coached several CS:GO teams in the past, including Liquid, HEROIC, MAD Lions, Imperial, and Complexity. Bad News Eagles, however, will be peacemaker's first team in CS2.
peacemaker's most notable achievement remains Flashpoint Season 1 in 2020, when MAD Lions upset MIBR in the grand finals. In addition to that, he also led Liquid to the ESL One Cologne Major grand finals in 2016.
Bad News Eagles reunited on February 1st and have played in a handful of open qualifiers thus far, without success. They're also playing in the $25,000 online tournament YaLLa Compass Winter 2025.
