So long for now

autimatic enters free agency, takes competitive break

The former Major winner is taking some needed time off.

Timothy "autimatic" Ta and NRG have officially parted ways, but the former Major winner is taking a break from competition.

autimatic confirmed his departure today on X, stating that he is now a free agent and no longer with the team. He joined NRG back in March 2024 but was moved to the bench at the end of the 2024 season.

The NA veteran will be taking a break from competition for the foreseeable future. "Felt like I slowly lost myself throughout the last 3 years because of the grind and the constant struggles," he wrote. "Need to reset before I can positively contribute to a winning team. " autimatic says that his break will include "making content and playing golf."

The 28-year-old has struggled to find the same level of success he originally found during his long Cloud9 tenure from 2016 and 2019, which of course includes the famous Major win at ELEAGUE Boston. He returned from VALORANT in 2022 with stints with Evil Geniuses and NRG.
