InControl round out their roster with sasha

On January 3rd, InControl announced the final piece of their roster for ESEA Advanced Season 52, seeing former regain player Alexander "sasha" Burke rejoin the team's ranks. His addition to InControl sees the squad finally return to a full house after Justin "jsfeltner" Feltner also returned to the lineup on December 13th.

With InControl back up to full strength, the squad will look to improve from their 17th-24th place finish in ESEA Advanced Season 51, which saw the team forfeit their first match in the lower bracket to Final Form due to roster issues. Despite this poor finish, the team were invited to ESL Challenger League Season 48 Relegation due to InControl having a glut of ECL points from ESEA Advanced Season 50. In relegation, the squad again exited an event via a forfeit due to roster issues.

Overall, roster issues have held InControl back from pursuing the long-term goal of qualifying to ECL. This will be something they will want to avoid, especially as a top-four finish in ESEA Advanced Season 52 will grant a direct path in ECL Season 50.

sasha joins InControl after plying his craft with teams like regain, DETONATE, and Tempest. With multiple seasons of Advanced playoffs under his belt, he is likely to be a welcome addition to InControl in 2025.
