Wanted Goons jump to Chicken Coop

The new organization has picked up their first team.

Last night, Chicken Coop announced their signing of their first-ever ESEA Advanced lineup, picking up Wanted Goons' lineup for 2025. The move sees Chicken Coop make their first foray into hosting a lineup after previously hosting an online event while a second tournament, the $1,000 New Year's Cash Cup, is also on the way.

While under Wanted Goons, Joshua "LittleBEER" Stuckley and co. finished ESEA Advanced Season 51 in third place, locking in a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 48 Relegation before falling in the first stage to Take Flyte.

With ESEA Advanced Season 52 right around the corner, Chicken Coop will look to replicate that success as the top-four teams from S52 will earn a spot in Season 50 of ESL Challenger League under its new VRS compliant format.

Chicken Coop are now:

  • United States Justin "FRIZZY" Gillis

  • Canada "BAGEL"

  • United States Brady "Freaky" Cobb

  • Illya "supa" Filanchuk

So Chicken Coop is hosting a tournament that Chicken Coop is also playing in? Obviously, nothing shady will happen over $1,000 but I never liked that stuff.

Just to be clear I am not accusing anyone that something will happen (even if it was for $100,000) I am just saying it's always better to stay clear of any potential negativity that could arise if a decision needed to be made on one of their matches.

If you do allow them to play, I would trust all is well though.
