Game Arena $2k Operation: Winter LAN set to start next week

Game Arena, a LAN center and tournament organizer based in Columbus, Ohio, are set to host their first CS2 LAN event of 2025 next week, the $2,000 Operation: Winter LAN. The event, which was originally announced back in October, is set to feature up to 16 teams and run from January 4th to January 5th.

Currently thirteen teams are signed up for the event, capping the prizepool at $1,500, meaning three more signups are needed to unlock the full $2,000 prizepool. Notable teams currently signed up for the Ohio LAN include a Collin "CoJoMo" Moren-led Penance mixteam and an Aether Reserve mixteam featuring Colin "koi" Thor and Nate "spek" Smith.
