phzy: "We will never just be satisfied with where we have come"

Wildcard's wild ride through the Perfect World Shanghai Major has gotten NA fans optimistic about the scene's future.

Swedish player Love "phzy" Smidebrant, one of several European talents that have come over to compete in NA, ie enjoying the moment. But as he tells Dust2.dk, with each shining moment comes a new tantalizing goal to reach.

"We will never just be satisfied with where we have come," phzy told Dust2.dk after Wildcard's win versus Passion UA. "After each goal there is a new one. I think all players and teams have the goal of being number one in the world, but for us it is of course the small steps, one at a time."

phzy told Dust2.dk that the new goal for Wildcard is now to reach playoffs. However, this won't be a simple task, especially considering their opening round match against FaZe Clan.

The Perfect World Shanghai Major's Opening Stage begins today at 10:00PM.
