Breaking: NRG sign Nouns player, move former Major winner to bench
NRG has acquired Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott from Nouns Esports, and moved Timothy "autimatic" Ta to the reserve roster.
Jeorge will don the NRG jersey and step into action this weekend, joining the roster just in time for the NA Revival Series November 2024 event. NRG was invited alongside BOSS, Nouns, Party Astronauts, Undone, and timbermen, with the sextet being joined by two teams from the open qualifier.
Jeorge has been a standout member for Nouns over the past year, forming a fearsome duo with Paytyn "junior" Johnson and leading the team in HLTV rating for 2024 with a 1.18. Nouns reached both Major RMRs this year, however they were eliminated early in both events with 0-2 and 0-3 records.
On X, autimatic admitted that he's been reflecting on his poor post-CS2 launch performance, but is disappointed to be benched "before I was able to put my realizations into practice."
NRG has benched autimatic after an up-and-down past few months. The team fell short of qualifying for the RMR, but following the second return of Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella to Counter-Strike, they managed to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 21 via ESL Challenger League S48. NRG will face off against one of the open qualifier teams at NA Revival Series November 2024 tomorrow, Nov. 23.
The full NRG roster as pf now consists of:
-
Vincent "brehze" Cayonte
-
Jadan "HexT" Postma
-
Josh "oSee" Ohm
-
Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott
-
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
-
Damian "daps" Steele (Coach)
-
Timothy "autimatic" Ta (Inactive)
Meanwhile, with Nouns one player down they will need to settle their roster for the NA Revival Series in short order, with Dust2.us confirming they still intend on playing the event.
