Supernova Comets win nailbiter against FlyQuest RED | ESL Impact League S7 Week 2 Roundup
The second week of ESL Impact League Season 7 North America wrapped up on March 6th and Supernova Comets, Ghost, and Black Mold remain as the only unbeaten teams thus far.
All eyes were obviously on Supernova Comets v. FlyQuest RED and the former triumphed, confirming that they closed the gap with the FlyQuest RED squad just as Lucy "empathy" Verkaik told Dust2.us during Fragadelphia x Block 2025.
Nyx Empire 0-2 Ghost
Ghost collected their second win in ESL Impact League S7 after completely demolishing Nyx Empire. Both maps of the series were extremely one-sided, which led to Ghost players posting some ridiculous stats. Mira "mira" Luna, for example, recorded the highest ADR (103.9), and Elena "Ellie" Garland topped the rating charts with a 1.81 rating.

Lumen fe 2-0 Nouns fe
While this wasn't a blowout like Ghost v. Nyx Empire, Lumen fe were always in control of the series thanks to good first halves and didn't give a chance to Nouns fe. The Belarusian rifler Yana "sakura" Beresneva finished the series with 38 kills, the highest of the matchup.

Black Mold 2-0 MEGA JUNERS
The newly formed mixteam Black Mold continued their good run in the start of ESL Impact League S7 as they conquered their second victory, this time at the expense of MEGA JUNERS. Black Mold picked Mirage once again and showed that they're very good on it as they won the first half by 10-2 on the T-side. This led to a blowout and Black Mold carried their great T-side form to Nuke, which allowed them to come back after a shy CT-side in the first half.

We saved the best of the week for last as unlike the other matches, this series between Supernova Comets and FlyQuest RED could have gone either way.
However, it was Supernova Comets' day to shine and they win back-to-back hard-fought games on Nuke and Mirage. Such a close match often requires at least one player to step up and Supernova Comets had two. empathy dropped 31 kills to help Supernova Comets secure the win on Nuke, while Lydia "Fawx" Dalton top-fragged on Mirage with 28 kills.
