CLASIA is back in action after five months away from the server

Official: CLASIA returns to activity on Nouns

Could this be his chance to turn over a new leaf?

Nouns' IGL, Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore, has confirmed to Dust2.us that the team have added Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney on a permanent basis, seeing the player return to activity as a replacement for Gage "Infinite" Green after he left the team in early February. The move also marks CLASIA's return to competition after last playing for undefined in September 2024.

CLASIA has been spotted playing for Nouns since February 8th following Infinite's departure, with the 22-year-old rifler slotting into the unsalaried roster with little fanfare. During this time as their de-facto fifth, CLASIA posted a modest 1.03 rating over 31 maps.

CLASIA's playing career, which dates back to late 2019, has been harried by the player taking multiple breaks over the years while also having claims of being a poor teammate and uncommitted to the game level against him. However, CLASIA is hopefully finally turning a page as his new Nouns teammate Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell vigorously defended him in an interview to Dust2.us, calling him a "great teammate" far removed from his previous antics.

With CLASIA, Nouns are now:

  • United States Paytyn "junior" Johnson

  • United States William "RUSH" Wierzba

  • United States Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell

  • United States Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore

  • United States Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney

  • United States Eric "adreN" Hoag (Coach)

CLASIA's next match with Nouns will be in ESL Challenger League Season 49 on March 18th against NRG.
