E-Xolos LAZER part ways with veteran AWPer

E-Xolos LAZER aim to find a stronger AWPer heading into 2025.

Veteran E-Xolos LAZER AWPer Paulo "land1n" Felipe has announced his departure from the lineup, exiting the lineup after nine months under the Mexican organization.

His departure from E-Xolos comes after a mixed period for the NA imports highlighted with the team finishing ESL Challenger League Season 48 in 7th-8th place after besting timbermen in round one of the lower bracket before being eliminated by Party Astronauts.

While the finish in ECL is definitely laudable for a squad in their first season of the division, E-Xolos LAZER have fallen flat in other NA competitions, failing to make any deep runs in qualifiers or CCT. land1n's own performance during this period left something to be desired as the AWPer has posted a 0.95 rating over 46 maps while ending ECL S48 with a 0.92 rating over 30 maps.

This appears to be the primary motivation behind E-Xolos LAZER dropping the player as land1n told Dust2.us that the team dropped him for performance reasons and that he hopes to return to being an IGL on his next project.

E-Xolos LAZER are now:

  • Brazil Matheus "mawth" Gonçalves

  • Brazil Alef "tatazin" Pereira

  • Brazil William "w1" Almasan

  • Brazil Daniel "danoco" Morgado
