stamina announces retirement, departure from undefined
On November 5th undefined IGL Bobby "stamina" Eitrem informed Dust2.us of his decision to step down from undefined and retire from Counter-Strike 2, citing an increasingly unhealthy relationship with the game leading to his decision to step away entirely from competition.
In a brief statement to Dust2.us, stamina stated he came to the realization that competing in the game had a negative effect on his mental health, leading to high levels of stress and a strained relationship with his teammates. Overall, stamina stated that while he loves competing in CS2, that overall he feels that "I don’t love the person I’ve become," after six years of competition.
stamina's career saw the IGL play for a number of top domestic NA teams and rub shoulders with a number of players on lineups including Strife, ChocoCheck, Nouns, MIGHT, and most recently, undefined. While stamina's career was marked with multiple successes, it was at times held back by rapid fire team changes and strained relationships with teammates. He most notably won Fragadelphia 16 in 2022 with Strife over Apeks Rebels and had numerous deep runs in ESL Challenger League with Strife and Nouns.
With stamina leaving undefined, Dust2.us understands that undefined have already found his replacement, with the team set to announce their new IGL in the near future.
