Aether return to full strength with Drew
On September 24th, Aether announced the addition of Andrew "Drew" Warkentin to the team's ranks, seeing the squad return to full strength after parting ways with Lane "RiFT" Hardesty on September 10th. Drew joins Aether after a brief trial with the team in CCT Season 2 NA Series 3, where the 21-year-old rifler helped the squad qualify to playoffs with a 3-2 record.
Aether's road to playoffs in CCT saw the team initially start their swiss stage run 0-2 after losses to Limitless and Akimbo before bouncing back with wins over Dangerous, DETONATE, and Homyno. During their run to playoffs, Drew posted modest numbers ending the group stage with a 1.02 rating over nine maps.
With Drew, Aether look to improve their overall form and aim for playoffs in ESEA Advanced Season 51 after the team narrowly missed out on playoffs last season with an 8-6 record.
