Super Girl Gamer announce $5,000 women's CS showmatch
Super Girl Gamer and the United States Esports Federation have announced a $,5000 women's CS2 showmatch that is set to take place on September 21st at 02:00PM. The showmatch will see FlyQuest RED take on the Team USA roster that is set to head to Riyadh to compete in IESF 2024 in November.
The matchup will likely be an uphill battle for Team USA as FlyQuest RED are the undisputed best team in the NA ESL Impact scene right now. Additionally, Team USA will head into the event with a stand-in as Team USA member, Emma "Emy" Choe, will be playing with her team — FlyQuest RED. In her place Team USA are set to field former FlyQuest RED player Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click, seeing her play her first match since retiring at the start of 2024.
Regardless, the event will hopefully be good practice for Team USA as they haven't played any officials since qualifying to IESF 2024 in late July, claiming one of two spots alongside Team Canada.
