Dust2.us is back for day two of the Perfect World Major Shanghai Americas RMR NA Closed Qualifier, with today set to be an extremely exciting day as two teams will earn spots in the Americas RMR, while four more squads will also face elimination after LAG, Limitless, Phoenix, and Homyno will be knocked out.

10:12PM - Elevate 2-0 Akimbo
Things quite quickly fell apart for Akimbo after they took the lead as a number of poor calls and lost duels allowed Elevate to take Nuke 13-11 and win the series 2-0. They now head into day three fighting for one of two remaining spots.

Akimbo have regained the initiative on Nuke, winning two rounds to climb up to 11-10, with the squad angling to force the series onto Mirage.
10:03PM - Mythic back in action
With Austin's power issues solved, Mythic are fighting for survival on Mirage, and are currently tied up 3-3.
10:01PM - Elevate tie up Nuke 9-9
On map two of their series, Akimbo was in the lead for a few rounds after their T-side, however things have started to slip for the Mongolian side on their CT-side, as Elevate have come back and look keen to press the advantage and potentially take the map.
09:39PM - Austin's power goes out again causing PC problems
More bad luck for Mythic as Austin is having further tech issues due to a storm. However, with an admin agreeing to pause and the storm clearing soon, Mythic may have a way out of this situation.
09:31PM - Austin suffers power outage ahead of Mirage versus E-Xolos LAZER
In another instance of profound bad luck for Mythic, Austin "Austin" Meadows' power has gone out. While he was able to get back online in time to avoid a forfeit, the streamer has to now battle bad lag and voice comm issues from the ping.
09:15PM - E-Xolos LAZER take map one
Despite the best efforts from Mythic in mounting a comeback, the Brazilians of E-Xolos LAZER managed to claim Anubis 13-9, putting the Tijuana fraggers up 1-0 in the series.
09:08PM - Elevate take Dust2 over Akimbo
After struggling to find rounds on their T-side, Akimbo have dropped Dust2 13-9 to Elevate, setting up the ECL time for a road into the third day.
09:03PM - Mythic mount comeback on Anubis
After starting flat on Anubis, Mythic have clawed back the map as they now trail 8-10 after ending the half 3-9 down.
08:54PM - Akimbo keep it close
Dust2 is currently tied up 8-8 between Akimbo and Elevate as the Mongolian squad have kept things quite competitive even with a stand-in.

In the final Bo3 of the day, Elevate are facing off against Akimbo while E-Xolos LAZER are set to take on the struggling Mythic to stay alive.

NRG have tied Mirage 7-7 with Nouns via some stellar plays after initially starting down 6-1.
04:51PM - NRG heroics help close the gap
Mirage is now 6-4 in favor of Nouns thanks to a 3k from Josh "oSee" Ohm on round ten which saw him clutch the final two kills followed up by Nick "nitr0" Cannella and Jadan "HexT" Postma winning a 2v4.

Nouns have once again began a map in the series with a strong initial showing as Jeorge and Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly have led their team to a 6-1 start on their CT-side.

03:47PM - Brehze saves 3v2 versus Nouns to secure first round on Ancient
Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte came in clutch for his team as he saved a 3v2 retake that was almost snatched away by Nouns thanks to a 2k from Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott. With very little time left, Brehze cleaned up Jeorge and Paytyn "junior" Johnson to secure NRG their first round on Ancient.

After falling to NRG on Anubis, Nouns have started their Ancient T-side off in a strong fashion, with the team currently being 6-0 up on their map pick.

Map two has started in the series between BOSS and Wildcard, with BOSS taking an early 3-0 lead on their CT-side.

Wildcard have locked down Nuke in a close showing versus BOSS, taking the map 13-11 after a immaculate round 24 saw all five players survive.

Wildcard have found map point on Nuke and look to be in a key position to claim their first map in the series against BOSS.
