Those getting up early this morning to watch M80 take on Falcons were surprised to see that their North American team was not warming up to play against their European opponents. Instead, Zero Tenacity and Virtus.pro were already loading into the server as they took on the first match of the day.

The scheduling change is due to clashes in the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major European RMR Closed Qualifier B which has Zero Tenacity fighting for the chance to compete in the next stage.

The European mix squad is currently 0-2 in group play. Their final match against Johnny Speeds at 11:30AM will determine whether they will be eliminated from the online qualifier or given another chance to make a miraculous comeback.

As for M80, the American-German squad have some more time to prepare against Falcons in the single-elimination match as part of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown. The Americans qualified for the event as NRG withdrew due to potential scheduling conflict with the upcoming 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major America RMR North American Closed Qualifier which begins this Monday.

M80 is now set to play at 02:30PM, but that is scheduled to change based on the length of the previous matches.
