NRG continue unbeaten start, Wildcard find their groove | ECL S48 Roundup Days 3 & 4
NRG is good now. They are dominant, winning, and clutching. They are a completely new team thanks to the arrival of Nick "nitr0" Cannella. The squad is solely in first place and looks like a favorite to seriously dethrone M80 this season in the race for the title. This has just been the first week of competition, but the season is already shaping up hot.
On the other side of the standings, everyone's favorite squad Mythic are in the basement as they are yet to find a win after six maps. It's a tough test for the squad who need to be able to rally together and ensure they do not suffer an automatic relegation.
NRG 2-0 Mythic
It was a tough night for the stream team as they struggled to play against NRG and fell to 0-6 on the season. Mythic have struggled to replicate their hot form to start off the prior season of ECL and need to figure out how to drag themselves out of the basement of the standings. NRG dominated their opponents with a 13-2 win on Anubis and then a 13-6 victory on Dust2.

BOSS 1-1 Elevate
BOSS have gone from a roster in distress to one of the strongest squads this season. Their Thursday night split with Elevate shows that this squad that has recently reformed can be intimidating, while Elevate is finding their feet after their shocking move to cut Deni "dea" Ediev. The Russian AWPer has been good for quite a while, but a dip in form appears to have prompted the change. Elevate have struggled in recent times and not been able to replicate their dominant form from the beginning of the year. Maybe this change is what the team needs to get back on top.

Wildcard 2-0 Take Flyte
Wildcard's international roster is slowly getting more and more comfortable which is being shown in their now 5-1 record in ECL thus far. The squad have been in a strong form while their Swedish contingent arrives to the United States, showing that a little bit of ping can't hurt them too much. The new lineup finished off the first week of ECL with a dominant showing against Take Flyte and will likely continue that once their full lineup is located on the same continent.
