Wildcard unveil Polish coach vinS in surprise pickup

A quick game of 52-card pickup has yielded an interesting signing for Wildcard.

In a surprising addition to Wildcard's international ranks, the Houston-based organization have announced the addition of Polish head coach Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak to the NA lineup. The addition of the former ENTERPRISE coach follows João "horvy" Horvath's exit from Wildcard on July 1st as the Brazilian coach is reportedly set to join w7m in short order.

The addition of vinS is a fairly surprising addition as the 25-year-old Polish coach has spent the entirety of his career working within the Polish scene, helming a number of teams in the Polish subtop including ENTERPRISE, Anonymo, HONORIS, and PACT.

Of these teams, vinS' time with PACT from 2019-2022 was the most successful, with the team regularly competing in the European scene while also finding success in the Polish scene with multiple titles in the domestic Polska Liga Esportowa.

Beyond his qualifications, Wildcard's decision to bring in vinS comes down to the organization's desire to have a more European-style roster that can dominate in the NA scene akin to M80, something further evidenced by Wildcard's reported additions of Swedish duo Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström.

In Wildcard's announcement of vinS on their website, the organization hinted at another CS2 announcement tomorrow, with it being expected that the Swedish duo will finally be unveiled.

Wildcard are now:

  • Canada Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz

  • United States Josh "JBa" Barutt

  • Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek

  • Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak (Coach)

Wildcard are expected to be back up at full strength ahead of their opening match of ESL Challenger League Season 48 against FLUFFY AIMERS on July 15th.

Honestly cutting SLIGHT for that AWPer from Sweden is a mistake and this team is still gonna lose 13-1 to VP
