horvy exits Wildcard ahead of return to Brazilian scene
Wildcard have announced the departure of João "horvy" Horvath from the team's ranks, seeing the Brazilian leave the organization after more than a year at the helm of its Counter-Strike project. horvy has originally joined Wildcard back in May 2023 a month after the organization entered CS:GO with the acquisition of Detonate's roster.
According to horvy's tweet that accompanied Wildcard's announcement of his departure, the decision to leave the project comes as horvy is set to return to the Brazilian scene, where is set to join a new lineup within the next two weeks. horvy told Dust2.us that he was able to work out his departure with Wildcard on amicable terms, seeing his contract until 2026 with the organization resolved.
The departure of horvy is the latest change for the Wildcard lineup as they are reportedly set to bring in two new additions in the form of Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström in short order. While the addition of the Swedes seems to be set in stone, it remains to be seen who will take over the coach role from horvy.
Wildcard are now:
-
Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
-
Josh "JBa" Barutt
-
Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek
