Akimbo set to enter the ESEA Advanced fray

Following the dissolution of their ESEA Advanced Season 49 roster after exiting the postseason in round three of the lower bracket, Akimbo have signed the newly resurrected G3 roster that features the Mongolian core of OMiT from last season with the additions of Kamron "kmrn" Manii and Joey "hyza" Cornelius in place of Yizhi "kralz" Zhou and Stanley "calamity" Chiu.

kmrn and hyza find their way to Akimbo as a duo from the Season 49 Zomblers roster that had the misfortune of drawing and losing to E-Xolos in the first round of playoffs after their first-round bye and then, as fate would have it, lost to Akimbo in the second round of the lower bracket to conclude their season. They now find themselves flying the very banner that saw them out of contention in Season 49, hungry to be the ones ruining aspirations and not the other way around.

The core from OMiT enjoyed a considerable amount of success in the ESEA Advanced Season 49 regular season and postseason alike, picking up big wins over Unjustified, Strife, and Villainous to reach the Upper Bracket Final, where they were bested by Legacy. They fended off E-Xolos in the Lower Bracket Final to return to the Grand Final before, again, losing to Legacy.

This season, with the former Major-attendees out of the way, the former OMiT trio are reloading with the hope to contend for the automatic bid to ESL Challenger League and avoid Relegation altogether, an understandable goal after losing their rematch to E-Xolos LAZER in the unforgiving gauntlet of ECL Season 47 Relegation and missing out on ECL Season 48.
