TaZ and friends took down Liquid on Mirage

Virtus.pro defeat Liquid in Mykonos Group B winner's match

The Polish team top Group B on the back of a strong Counter-Terrorist side.

Virtus.pro taking care of business against EnVyUs setup a confrontation between the Poles and Team Liquid. Noted devourers of North American competition, Virtus.pro got off to a good start by winning the pistol on their Terrorist side. From there, Liquid were able to win six rounds in a row, and the half ended with them up 8-7.

Liquid continued their streak of futility in pistol rounds (they are currently 0-4 in the event), immediately surrendering their hard-fought lead back to Virtus.pro. A stifling defense from the Polish side saw the final score to 16-10 in their favor, with all five of their members ending positive. It was not nearly as pretty over on the side of Liquid, as only Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski showed off a good form, finishing the map with a 1.18 rating.
