ChocoCheck finalize roster for ESEA Premier Season 37
ChocoCheck are still feeling the effects of last season's MDL matchfixing report that saw three of their team members suspended. Dust2.us has confirmed with Bobby "stamina" Eitrem that the team will play in ESEA Premier Season 37 and will feature himself as the in-game leader with Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk, Christopher "cJ" Jones, Ethan "reck" Serrano, and Dominic "JazzPimp" Dimpfel rounding out the roster.
stamina also told Dust2.us that Zack "XotiC" Elshani is willing to fill in as a substitute if needed, but that he no longer has a desire to compete and is not a part of the team's plans going forward.
As it stands right now, Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly remains suspended on ESEA through at least June 2nd at 11AM EDT while the results of ESIC's investigation remain pending. At the time of publication ESEA has not responded to a request for comment on their plans for how to handle the platform suspension if ESIC does not release their report prior to the end of nosraC's suspension.
stamina played Season 36 with Verum, where he was knocked out of the ESEA Advanced postseason in the second round of the lower bracket by the previous iteration of Veloz. Ironically, the closest he ever came to making ESEA Premier was while he was with ChocoCheck's previous organization, Rebirth, in ESEA MDL Season 32 Relegation. There, he lost 2-0 to Bushido Boys, then 2-1 to cxzi and Faint.
reck is no stranger to the ChocoCheck lineup, having played with them last season out of necessity to keep the roster spot alive. Originally he was only supposed to play with the roster in Premier due to roster lock constraints, but has also appeared for the ever-changing lineup in events such as the open qualifier for the VENN Invitational.
Unlike reck, JazzPimp is a new face in the roster as he comes to ChocoCheck fresh off of a Season 36 campaign where he and Recon 5 "made" playoffs after Extra Salt and OCG withdrew from their spots in the postseason. He averaged a 1.03 rating in ESEA Premier last season.

ChocoCheck will play their ESEA Premier Season 37 debut tonight at 9PM EDT against QcClan, the rebuilt version of what used to be OCG, the other roster torn apart by matchfixing suspensions.
