Complexity to face NAVI for quarterfinals spot
It only took two close matches for Complexity to lock in playoffs at EPL Season 19, but the team are likely hungry as they will look to bypass the first two stages of playoffs and qualify directly to the quaterfinals with a win over Natus Vincere on Sunday.
Complexity and Natus Vincere have some history as they squads have played one another twice in the Counter-Strike 2 era. Complexity came away with a victory the first time the two faced off at the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023, but were swept in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 to even up the series record.
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski was one of Complexity's best performers in both series as the American leading the way in the initial matchup with nearly 60 kills across three maps and a 1.45 HLTV Rating to boot. He struggled in the lost in the spring, but still was one of squad's better performers.
Complexity have made their way to this matchup as they scraped by PERA in a 2-0 win and then came from behind against HEROIC to ensure their spot in the top twelve with a 2-1 victory.
2024 PGL Copenhagen Major winners will be formidable opponents as they have not slumped at all in the post-Major months. The squad have continued to be dominant with Mihai "iM" Ivan silencing his critics with a solid showing so far in the event. The rifler has a 1.37 HLTV Rating across the five maps played and is the squad's second-best performer behind Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov.
Complexity will face Natus Vincere on Sunday at 01:30PM.
