What to expect from Imperial v. Monte
Imperial is good now, and with them being one of four Brazilian teams representing the Americas in Copenhagen, we love and believe in them. Their first match in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown is a little fortunate as they will compete against a depleted Monte who lost both Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev and Alexander "br0" Bro in recent weeks. As for Imperial, well, they dominated the RMR and look to be in the best form of their life.
It's the Imperial March!
I tried typing out the "dun dun" of the Imperial March score and realized that it actually doesn't translate over to text well. Imagine the score and replay it in your head as this Brazilian team comes out swinging today against the Ukrainian side. The squad has been dominant back in South America and they're just going to continue their good form today.

HEN1 is finally back to his old dominant ways
Monte's roster problems
Monte missed out the Major and now they're also missing out on two of their players who have left in recent weeks. br0 was acquired by Astralis and sdy stepped away by mutual agreement. sdy is seemingly standing in today, but is that enough to make up for a team that is clearly undergoing some critical issues? This might be the time for Imperial to step up.

Can sdy lead his team to a victory?
-
Monte might not perform if they don't even have a full lineup
-
Map vetoes are favored towards the Brazilians
Previous Matchups
These two squads have never played one another.
Likely Vetoes
As mentioned before, the vetoes seem to go the way of the Brazilians who have been on a hot streak. Coming off a 3-0 in Mexico, can they continue that today?
