TyLoo to miss Major; Flash likely replacement
HLTV have reported that TyLoo will not be attending the ELEAGUE Major Boston. After visa issues sidelined Singaporean star Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand, the team was forced to attempt to play with former coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu. While it was originally thought that a deal between his current team Heroic and the Chinese organization was already in place, evidently it was not so.
The Major Qualifier (or "New Challengers" stage, as it has been inconveniently termed by ELEAGUE), will begin on January 12th. A now-deleted tweet from Flash's Andrew "kaze" Khong seemingly indicated that at least he himself had already applied for a visa. Flash placed third at the Asia Minor, behind Renegades and TyLoo.
Should Flash experience visa issues, it is anyones guess as to what route ELEAGUE will take, as the window of opportunity to get a replacement team is quickly shrinking. Should the organizer and Valve be forced to look for a domestic replacement, the next team in line would seemingly be Unemployed for Christmas, as the former CLG side placed third at the Americas Minor.
