Swisher joins Yeah; future of ex-Warriors International uncertain
Yeah have returned their lineup to full strength with the addition of American player Michael "Swisher" Schmid. The move comes after Victor "iDk" Torraca stepped down from the lineup on August 27th after expressing a desire to return to Brazil.
The addition of an American player comes as a surprise for Yeah, as the organization has only Brazilian players following its revival in 2018. Swisher does have some experience with Yeah however, recently helping the team to a second-place finish in the third ESEA Summer Cash Cup.
Yeah are now:
- Rodrigo "RCF" Figueiredo
- Alef "tatazin" Pereira
- Arthur "f4stzin" Schmitt
- Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer
- Michael "Swisher" Schmid
Yeah are currently competing in ESEA Advanced Season 35, where they have a 2-0 record. Their next match is against Brian "BlueSky" Wortman's caleb tonight at 9PM EDT.
The departure of Swisher to Yeah has in turn created a difficult situation for ex-Warriors International, as shortly after he left their ESEA roster, Walker "walker" Harris announced his intentions to explore his options this season.
While Dust2.us has confirmed with walker that he has not made a final decision on leaving the team, it would potentially leave the remaining players without a spot in ESEA MDL Season 35 as the team would no longer have two players from Season 34.
For now, ex-Warriors International consist of:
- Derek "Hendy" Hendrixson
- Walker "walker" Harris
- Eric "Ryze" Brown
- Andrew "vein" Lindeman
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
- Colin "Koi" Thor (Assistant Coach/Analyst)
If ex-Warriors International manage to stabilize their roster, they will be taking on Incognito on September 15th at 11PM EDT.
