reck couldn't take down the former Major champs

M80 show positives in loss to VP

NA is... coming back?

M80 are back on LAN action today, but without the brains behind their roster as IGL Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen had some visa issues which left Rory "dephh" Jackson responsible for hopping back onto the server for his first official in over four years. Despite the time away, he helped guide M80 to a solid CT-side, before eventually losing steam while playing offense.

Beginning on Ancient, M80 lost the opening pistol, but found themselves climbing back slowly in the half. The North American squad took a surprising 4-3 CT-sided lead as they repelled the former 2022 IEM Rio Major champions. That lead would not last for too long as the Russians would tie up the half at 6-6 before switching sides.

M80 would get onto the T-side for the second half, but failed to find their grove. The Russians would win the second pistol of the match but a few close rounds suddenly saw M80 with the momentum. M80 was poised to take control, but they would lose to pistols from VP and suddenly were on the back foot as VP steamrolled to match point.

Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa was close to making it a comeback, but it wasn't enough as his squad would fall 13-8 in the opening best-of-one.
