Monte win Atlanta opener
DreamHack Atlanta is off to a hot start, despite being just ever so slightly delayed due to some technical issues. BESTIA arrived to Atlanta with their forces slightly depleted as Luciano "luchov" Herrera and Tomas "tomaszin" Corna couldn't make the trip, leading to Roberto "reversive" Themtham and Nicolas "NikoM" Miozzi coming in at the last second.
Monte, strong as ever, was the heavy favorite for the matchup, and they showed that as they cruised to a solid 13-5 victory on Ancient against the Argentinians.
The Ukrainian squad jumped out to a strong 4-0 T-side lead as they took control of the match. Despite BESTIA countering CT-side with some effective rounds, it was not enough. A tied score at 5-5 only allowed Monte to grab the final two rounds of the half to make it 7-5 before making a commanding CT stand.
Monte grabbed the first five rounds of the second half to go up 12-5, but BESTIA wasn't going to go home just yet. The Argentinians claimed three rounds at Monte's match point to make it 12-8, but it wasn't enough as the Ukrainians brought it home to win 13-8.
