Chaos make Jonji and leaf official
Chaos have announced another set of changes to their CS:GO roster, signing recent addition Jonathan "Jonji" Carey on a permanent basis while also replacing Logan "Voltage" Long with Nathan "leaf" Orf.
leaf had initially joined Chaos on May 5th before abruptly leaving on May 12th, with our report stating that he was set to join Cloud9's VALORANT roster. However, talks seemingly broke down between the two parties as leaf returned to Chaos' starting lineup less than two weeks later on May 26th.
As for Jonji he initially joined the roster as a replacement for leaf, however he has now been given a permanent spot on the team. During his time with Chaos, Jonji has performed well, managing a 1.08 rating over the course of 22 maps.
In their post on the move, Chaos did not comment on the departure of Voltage, however a report from Ryan Friend at Rush B Media stated that his departure was due to an "opportunity outside of esports that was too promising to turn away", with our sources telling us Voltage received a full-ride college scholarship.
With these changes, Chaos are now:
- Joshua "steel" Nissan
- Anthony "vanity" Malaspina
- Erick "Xeppaa" Bach
- Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
- Nathan "leaf" Orf
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)
Chaos recently fell in the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Showdown following loses to Gen.G and FURIA. Their next match will see them take on Infinity on June 9th at 8PM EDT in Mythic Invite League.
