Nouns eliminated in LEON Teamplay
Nouns have unfortunately seen their last minute entry into LEON Teamplay Season 2 cut short as they were eliminated at the hands of ARCRED in a thrilling 0-2 loss after being sent to the lower bracket yesterday courtesy of a loss to paiN. While losing is never fun, the squad will take some solace in this not being a major event of note as they have their focus set on ESL Challenger Jönköping, which begins next week.
The match started on ARCRED's pick of Ancient, where the Americans got off to a hot start on their T-side. By taking a solid 8-4 lead, Nouns looked like they were going to be in the driver's seat and steal away a map. However, ARCRED proved to have an even stronger T-side as they came all the way back to win their own map pick 13-11.
Nouns looked to bounce back on their own choice of Overpass, but were unsuccessful in turning the tide. A 6-6 CT-side was too little for the American squad as the Europeans dominated on their defense and completed the series sweep with a 13-8 scoreline.
