Eros returns with the jungle signing
Canadian esports organization Eros has returned from a five-month hiatus in esports with the signing of the jungle, reacquiring a core of players they previously hosted from August 2022 to May 2023. Their newly signed squad, known as Eros White, has also made changes to their roster, seeing Andrew "Andrew" Burrell and Dylan "DJF" Ferreira come into the team as replacements for Austin "AJaxz" Janocha and Rudy "PALADIN" Rokin, with the former being cut on October 16th while the latter stepped down from the team last night.
Eros' owner Mark "Vindi" told Dust2.us that his organization's hiatus from esports came down to him wanting to focus on turning Eros into a streetwear brand due to feeling burned out with esports. However, this feeling did not last long leading to his return with this new team.
Looking towards the team itself, the addition of Andrew comes amidst the demise of WITHOUTWARNING while DJF joins after a period on the sidelines after stepping down from Unjustified in August. These additions bring Eros White to full strength after Rudy "PALADIN" Rokin told his teammates he wasn't interested in playing this season.
With this signing, Eros White is now:
-
Darius "PNDLM" Bandali
-
Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez
-
Cory "shutout" Frymark
-
Dylan "DJF" Ferreira
-
Andrew "Andrew" Burrell
-
Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)
Eros White will make their debut in ECL S46 on October 25th against Nouns.
