AJaxz cut from the jungle
Early Monday morning, Austin "AJaxz" Janocha announced his departure from the jungle, seeing the former Torch player leave the lineup after only seven maps with the team. Moreover, AJaxz's removal from the jungle sees him leave without ever having played a single match in ESL Challenger League Season 46, as the jungle have been entirely inactive since August.
With the team barely having any play time together, one could assume AJaxz elected to step down from the jungle to pursue other opportunities, however he confirmed to Dust2.us that he had been cut from the team. According to AJaxz, part of the reason the team elected to cut him was due to changes in his work schedule, only allowing him to commit around 30 hours per week to CS2. While Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper, the team's coach, did not explicitly mention AJaxz had been cut, he did confirm that AJaxz's departure was due to work schedule changes.
This strange situation will now see the jungle had to bed in a new fifth and play their first matches in CS2 together all at the same time, as the squad, alongside WITHOUTWARNING, have elected to postpone their ECL matches until the last minute.
With this, the jungle are now:
-
Darius "PNDLM" Bandali
-
Nelvin "nooz" Gonzalez
-
Rudy "PALADIN" Rokin
-
Cory "shutout" Frymark
-
Mark "CooperTrooper" Cooper (Coach)
the jungle will need to determine their fifth and bring him online ahead of their much-delayed ECL debut tomorrow at 08:00PM against Badass.
