Singularity release team following EPL restructuring
Singularity have parted ways with their North American CS:GO roster after the team spent just over five months under the organization's banner.
The news follows the team's removal from ESL Pro League, a result of a restructuring that saw the league reduced from 48 teams in three regions to 24 overall. Singularity had been invited to compete in ESL Pro League at the start of Season 10 as a replacement team following the dissolution of Ghost and Luminosity, with the organization signing New Identity from MDL in order to compete.
The team failed to impress in the first group stage of EPL, finishing in last place, but were offered a second chance to compete as they replaced Complexity in the second group stage following the team's acquisition of Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Valentin "poizon" Vasilev. Skyler "Relyks" Weaver and company fell just short of a spot at the LAN finals as they ended the runner-up in their group to ATK, who went on to impress in Odense, and were later signed by Cloud9.
More recently, Singularity parted ways with Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro and Will "dazzLe" Loafman in a bid to improve upon their results, utilizing Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan, Hunter "SicK" Mims, and Kaleb "moose" Jayne in their WINNERS League Season 3 Invite appearances. According to HLTV.org, Singularity were in talks to sign the former Complexity duo, as well as Rory "dephh" Jackson, but talks fell through after the team were left without a spot in EPL.

With no organization backing them, it is not known if some portion of the former Singularity roster will compete in MDL, with at least Michael "dapr" Gulino looking to reassess his options. The division's season may get underway as early as tomorrow.
