Unjustified return with ex-Snakes Den
North American esports organization Unjustified have returned to CS:GO after a brief hiatus with the signing of ex-Snakes Den. The ex-Snakes Den quintet had been on the lookout for a new home after parting ways with Snakes Den on May 13th as part of a search for more financial support. Additionally, in a somewhat surprising change, Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield has returned to the squad nine days after announcing his retirement on August 2nd.
Wolffe had previously explained to Dust2.us that he elected to retire due to being unable to find an organization that would allow him to compete on a part-time basis. It is unknown whether Unjustified were able to meet these salary needs or the call of CS2 beckoned him back, however the publication understands ex-Snakes Den had been in negotiations for some time, making the sudden pivot strange. Dust2.us reached out to Wolffe to get a better understanding of what prompted his sudden return to competition, however, he did not respond to our request for comment.
Regardless, this signing marks Unjustified's return to the NA CS scene after last fielding a squad in April 2023. Notably, a previous iteration of Unjustified that competed in ESL Challenger League Season 42 featured McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison, setting up a reunion between the AWPer and his former organization.
Unjustified are now:
-
Dylan "DJF" Ferreria
-
McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison
-
Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich
-
Mason "Lake" Sanderson
-
Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
Unjustified will make its debut on ESL Challenger League Season 46 on August 15th.
