New England Whalers finally announce signing of ex-Ascent
After parting ways with their Brazilian lineup back in December, New England Whalers have returned with a new lineup, announcing the signing of ex-Ascent after the team has been playing under their banner for about a month.
New England Whalers originally entered CS:GO back in July 2018 with the aforementioned Brazilian lineup. Outside of a top eight finish in ESEA Main Season 31, the roster struggled to find notable results while also being plagued with visa issues and a scandal involving Felipe "pavel" Costa.
Their new North American roster recently attended Fragadelphia 14 where they managed to claim a fourth-place spot before being eliminated by J Money Crew. Additionally, they also managed to qualify for WINNERS League Season 3 Invite Division playoffs however they were eliminated last night in a 2-0 loss to Chaos.
Therefore, New England Whalers are now officially:

With the team eliminated from WINNERS League, they await the start of ESEA MDL Season 33 sometime in the next three weeks.
