CCT Online Finals #2 features top NA team

North America has not had the most fun time recently as they waved goodbye to Liquid and Complexity from the IEM Cologne 2023 Play-In. Our friends from South America didn't fare much better as both FURIA and Imperial were eliminated on the final day, leaving fans from North America searching for any kind of hope while the rest of Europe enjoyed the spoils of the marquee event.

Now, there is some hope as Nouns, MIBR, and Sojoga have been invited to the CCT Online Finals #2 alongside some of the top teams in Europe.

Nouns, who are currently bootcamping in Cologne after winning the first edition of the ESEA Cash Cup Series Finals, will be playing without their former frontman David "cynic" Polster, widely considered one of North America's top prospects. In his place, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem will be leading the team as they hope to continue gaining valuable experience and solidify themselves as one of the best American teams. Nouns will have to diligently prepare as they face off against Major semi-finalists Apeks in the first round.

For MIBR, this will be the first European event for the new-look squad which now proudly features two former FURIA stars. André "drop" Abreu and Rafael "saffee" Costa will be making the journey and will hope to elevate an MIBR team that shockingly missed out on the BLAST.tv Paris Major after falling in the Americas RMR last April. They will face off against Anonymo in the opening round.
