Supernova announces ex-ECL talent as coach
It did not take long for North American organization Supernova to land their first talent. Just two days after announcing a re-entrance into Counter-Strike, the org has found its head coach in former ECL in-game leader Austin “mesamiduck” Dardar.
mesamiduck most notably spent his career under the Third Impact and Brazen brands, with the peaks of his success coming with Brazen. Under the banner, he and his team qualified for ECL Season 41 with mesami as the in-game leader.
His teammates in that lineup included talent that would become rather notable in the lower-echelon's of NA's scene, including Wildcard's Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas, and Reason's duo of Keanu "danejoris" Reyes and Brennan "grape" Greer.
With a slate of in-game leading experience at the Advance and ECL level under his belt and a chance to build a lineup, mesamiduck is in a rare spot as a coach. Time will tell what he can do in his newfound opportunity.
